What is a referral?

A referral is a physician order prescribed for transfer of care to a specialist for evaluation and/or treatment.

How can I get a referral?

You will need to make an appointment with one of our providers to discuss the reason for your referral. Once the physician prescribes a referral, our nurses will send the referral and contact you with the referral information. Please note that once we send a referral, it can take 1-2 weeks for you to receive a call from the specialist for an appointment. For our pediatric patients, please note that the Permian Basin has a very limited number of specialties, therefore, we may have to send your referral to a different city. For Medicaid patients, please note that not all specialists in the area accept your insurance, please check with the nurses to see if your provider of choice accepts Medicaid. Once we process your referral, it is your responsibility to follow up accordingly.

Do you offer vaccine services?

Yes. We are happy to administer your vaccines. Please contact our office to verify if your insurance is in network with our vaccine vendor.

Do you offer financing options?

No. Unfortunately we do not offer financing on any of our services. For self-pay patients, payment is expected at the time of the appointment. For patients with insurance, we will bill your insurance, if your insurance refuses the claim, then payment becomes your responsibility.

I am worried about being infected with covid-19. What is your pandemic protocol?

Great question! We sanitize each room in between each patient. Our staff wears surgical masks when providing care for sick patients, and we use gloves when obtaining any type of patient samples. When our patients inform us they have been exposed, we ask that they remain in their vehicles to be tested and are treated through telemedicine. We encourage you to call our office if you have further questions or concerns.

What is the process to get covid-19 testing?

You can get covid-19 tested in three easy steps!
1. You will have to contact our office to schedule a telemedicine appointment. You will then be instructed to provide a secure number we can reach you at, and the type of vehicle you will use at the time of your covid-19 testing.
2. You will drive to our office and park outside the door marked "Covid Testing" on the left side of the building, and call the office to check in. One of our nurses or MAs will go to your vehicle to perform the specimen collection.
3. Once we process your test, one of our physicians will contact you with the results and give you further instructions based on your results.

What type of Covid-19 testing do you do?

We have rapid testing with results in as little as 15 minutes. We also have PCR testing, which is sent out to a lab to be processed. PCR testing can usually take 24-48 hours, or longer depending on the lab's ability to test.
Please note a PCR test is recommended for those who plan to travel outside of the country.

Is your waiting room open?

Yes. Our waiting room is open to the public with limited capacity to offer the most secure environment possible. Our patients are welcome to wait in their vehicles for their appointment if they prefer to do so.

How can I obtain medical records?

Please contact our office. You will have to sign a medical record release form and may have to pay a fee for any printed records.
For patients switching practices, we are sad to see you go and wish you the best! We ask that you have the new providing clinic send a medical release request form with your signature indicating you approve medical records be released.
