Gupta and Gupta Pediatrics Policy Reminder

NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS

Dear Patients and Families,

Happy Back-to-School!

We hope everyone had a wonderful summer and that all of our students have a safe, healthy, and successful school year! As we get back into our school-year routines, we wanted to share a few important reminders to help appointments and requests run as smoothly as possible.

 Office Hours & Sick Appointments

Our regular office hours are 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, Fridays we close at 4:00PM.

  • We continue to offer same-day sick appointments only.NIf we are completely booked for the day and cannot accommodate another sick visit, we may offer an appointment for the following morning.

  • Monday walk-in sick appointments will continue to be available from 8:30–10:00 AM.

  • Sick appointments will be scheduled with whichever provider is available at the time of the appointment.

  • Due to the high volume of patients during the school year, appointments with Dr. Patel may be limited. When needed, we will offer appointments with Mary, our Physician Assistant, to ensure your child can be seen as soon as possible.

 Please Arrive Early

We ask that all patients arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled appointment time to allow enough time for check-in.

Please note: We no longer offer a grace period. If you are not present on time, your appointment may be subject to cancellation, and you may need to reschedule.

 Glasses — Please Bring Them!

For all yearly well-child visits and sports physicals, please remember to bring your child's glasses if they wear them.

Having their glasses available allows our clinical staff to perform an accurate vision screening as part of their visit.

 Sports Physical Reminders

If your child is coming in for a sports physical, please remember to:

  • Bring the sports physical form with you to the appointment.

  • If you need the MISD sports physical form, we can provide one in the office. Please arrive early enough to complete your portion of the form before the appointment.

Completing the parent/student portion ahead of time helps us keep your appointment running smoothly and minimizes delays for everyone.

 Cash Payments

For cash payments, please bring no bill larger than $20.

Unfortunately, our office will not be able to provide change for bills larger than $20.

 Forms & School Paperwork

With the school year beginning, we know there will be an increase in requests for school forms, medication forms, and other paperwork.

  • Please allow a minimum of 24 hours and up to 48 hours for forms to be completed.

  • Requests for expedited forms may be subject to an additional fee.

  • Please plan ahead whenever possible, especially for school deadlines.

 Vaccine Records & Verification

Please allow at least 24 hours' notice for vaccine records, copies, and verification requests.

Our staff members who handle these requests are also assisting patients throughout the day, so we appreciate your patience and understanding.

 Prescription Refills

As the school year gets underway, please remember to plan ahead for prescription refills.

  • Please allow 48 hours for refill requests to be completed.

  • Use our refill line for all refill requests rather than calling the front desk. Our front desk staff will not be able to process refill requests.

We appreciate your cooperation as we work to provide the best possible care for all of our patients. The school year is always a busy time in pediatrics, and following these guidelines helps us keep things moving efficiently while making sure every child receives the attention they deserve.

Thank you for trusting Gupta & Gupta Pediatrics with your children's care. We wish all of our students a wonderful, healthy, and successful school year!

Warmly,

The Gupta & Gupta Pediatrics Team
